STEP 1

REGISTER & SETUP

Register and setup your community on the My Community website.  Your My Community profile is just for you and those that you invite – its private, safe and secure.

STEP 2

INVITE MEMBERS

Invite neighbours, family and friends to join as Community Members and download the My Community mobile app. Now they can log requests for help via the app.

STEP 3

START HELPING EACH OTHER

Now community members can log requests for assistance. Community Ambassadors can fulfil requests or delegate to others via the My Community Dashboard.

My Community is a Mobile App (for Android and iOS) and an online Dashboard designed for communities to coordinate support for the elderly, vulnerable, isolated or shielding. My Community is free for individuals wishing to help neighbours, family and friends. Charities, religious communities, associations and mutual aid groups can also use My Community to manage large scale social support activities.

If you are self-isolating, elderly or vulnerable you can use the My Community Mobile App to request help from neighbours, family or friends. Simply log your request in the app, such as shopping lists, collection tasks, cleaning jobs, DIY jobs or anything else you need help with. Those people that you nominate to help you, will receive your request and you will be able to track their progress using the mobile app. You can also access the latest useful information related to My Community including health and wellness tips, local activities and other useful information.

Yes everything you log in the My Community mobile app is private to you and those that you nominate to receive your requests. None of your requests are publicly accessible and all remain secure.

My Community is built to enable you to help others! Just download the My Community Mobile App, setup a new community and invite the people that you want to support. They will receive instructions via email on how to download the app. You will then be able to mange the requests via the My Community Dashboard which can be accessed securely from any browser. You can guide the elderly or vulnerable to download the My Community app on any mobile device (iOS or Android). They can start logging requests for your help with anything from shopping and order collection, to DIY and cleaning tasks. If you choose to, you can also upload useful information for your community members. We also keep the app updated with useful advice and links. Yes! My Community was setup to help people, so we have made it free for individuals that want to help people that are self-isolating, vulnerable and elderly. My Community can also be used by charities, religious groups, associations and mutual aid groups to coordinate larger operations.
